Remote assistance allows a member of our technical team to connect to your computer and control the system remotely. This allows us to attend to most problems without having to send a technician to your office. During the remote support session, you will still have full control of your computer, will be able to see what the technician is doing, and can cancel the connection at any time.
Please note that by downloading and running the remote support application (TeamViewer),
you acknowledge and agree to our Remote Assistance Terms and Conditions.
Instructions for Windows Users
- Click on the Start Remote Assistance button above.
- A new window will open in your Internet browser and you will be prompted to download the file “TeamViewerQS.exe“
- You will be prompted to either save or run the file, choose run. If you don’t have the option to run, choose to save.
- If you were able to select run, the TeamViewer QuickSupport application will download and then run automatically.
If you selected save, wait for the application to download. After the file has downloaded, browse to the folder where you saved the file, usually your Downloads folder, and double-click “TeamViewerQS.exe“
Instructions for Mac Users
- Click on the Start Remote Assistance button above.
- A new window will open in your Internet browser. Depending on your Internet browser, the file may start to download automatically or you may be prompted to download the file “TeamViewerQS.zip“
- After the file has downloaded, browse to the folder where you saved the file, usually your Downloads folder, and double-click “TeamViewerQS.zip“ to extract the contents.
- Finally, double-click “TeamViewer QuickSupport”

- Next Generation Digital Technologies recommends (for your security and privacy) that you exit any applications you have open that are displaying content of a personal or confidential nature before allowing a Next Generation Digital Technologies employee to initiate a remote assistance session. We further recommend that you remain seated at your desktop throughout the entire remote session.
- Next Generation Digital Technologies undertakes to take the utmost care when working on your computer, however, we cannot guarantee that our service will resolve your problem or that attempting to rectify your technical issue will not cause additional problems.
- It remains your responsibility to ensure that you have an up-to-date backup of the data on your computer! Next Generation Digital Technologies will not be held responsible for any data loss that occurs during or after a remote assistance session. If you need assistance with creating a backup of your computer, please notify the technician in advance.
